Remember when I said I was crafting like woah? Well, I started this crochet blanket right after ALA Annual (about two and a half weeks ago) and I finished it today. It’s my first time crocheting in a straight line (rather than around and around), first time following a pattern, by far the largest thing I’ve ever crocheted (although it is still quite small). It’s not perfect, but I am proud of it. Also worth noting: I pieced a quilt, worked on another crochet project, and drove for more than 24 hours at the same time I was making this piece. Pictures after the jump.
I like the colors, although lots of people have said “Rasta Baby!” They were the options that weren’t pastel or excessively gendered, which is a huge selling point for me.
